YouthInBC.ca is a crisis chat service for youth aged 12 to 25. It is a platform which enables youth to reach out when in distress and talk to volunteers who are trained to listen non-judgmentally, assess for possible risk, and provide a safe space to explore ways to approach various crises. A poster and a wallet card were developed to advertise the service. The design uses comic-style illustrations to highlights a small number of scenarios for which youth could use the chat service.
