Seemingly a curious combination, there are many overlaps between the two as they both attempt to understand individuals and their behaviour in different ways. At the core of both disciplines lies empathy \u2014 that ability to connect and take on the perspective, thoughts and feelings of another. Utilizing this core principle to understand people, issues and problems, I use communication design to expand awareness, create understanding or engage in conversation and action as a way to effect positive change. <\/span><\/p>\n
